Unless I read it wrong, there was only one witness, a farmer, and his account could not be confirmed by anyone else.

My first thought was no idea how reliable the reporter is.

I'd like to know how much information from Iraq is simply made up by reporters who know their editors can't possible confirm alleged sources.

I like how this 'anonymous resident' seems to have preferred life under Hussein. As far as him fearing retribution.....no worries if you're not involved in the assualt. Count on it tenfold, if you are.
