It's close, but I think Cynthia McKinney still holds that title.
Murtha kept blabbering that the intell used in tracking, locating and ultimately killing Zarqawi came from the "inside." He claims the US did nothing but drop the bombs. What is this jackass saying? Wasn't Zarqawi located through the collective efforts of Iraqi citizens, Iraqi and US intelligence agents and special ops along with intelligence agents from Jordan? What a loser, defeatist, lying scumbag.
Yea, I wouldn't want to denigrate her title of being the congressional fool because that could be seen as racial profiling.
The proper term for that is RETREAT. In Murtha's case it is CUT AND RUN. A war has never been won with that tactic. In fact, many wars have been lost with this tactic.
Murtha's obsession with this "change of direction" is traitorous.
I am increduluous that this old coot is getting so much attention! Has anybody considered the possibility that he is suffering from hardening of the arteries or some small strokes leading to dementia?
A question for the medical experts out there: if the above scenario is a fact, couldn't he be led by handlers to go out there and say all this crazy stuff?

The only reason this jerk is on TV is that he delivers the kind of anti-Iraq statements the media wants.
The "old coot is getting so much attention" in the
same way that Sheehan and the Jersey Girls get it.
They all went through some kind of emotional trauma
during "their time of war" and the DNC looks to them
to speak for the party...viz. anti Bush Administration.
Murtha's conduct is the more pathetic since HE
was a Marine-discharged-with-honor who went on to
become a Congressman. Some of these old boys just
don't realize their time is not only past, their
opinions are no longer valid in this kind of war.
Murtha has no experience with Terrorism, nor does
any of his cronies in Congress. The GENERALS he
speaks of are all retired or died-in-the-wool
Democrats whose "advice" Bush and the Generals in
charge over in the Near East ignore.
Suffice it to say, the vast majority of Republican
Congressmen PLUS a good majority of the Democrats
are in this fray for the long haul. And the Murthas
of the DNC can't stand it! They have to be choking
over the Senate and House votes Thursday and Friday!
All but 6 DEM senators voting "to stay the course" in
Iraq. Then the House the next day voting 256-153 for
the same military action in Iraq.
They may be screwed up re Immigration, but members
of both Houses have the REAL PULSE of Americans re Iraq!
