Furthermore, I bitterly resent the suggestion that mistakes made during this war were mistakes of incompetence.

 Me too.  Using a Lessons Learned to avoid future mistakes in operations is vastly different from blowing up a hut in the desert and and an aspirin factory then claiming it was a total success.

Remember too Weasley Clark bombing civilians from 20,000 ft. as as not to incur any US casualties.

He bombed a train carrying civilians to work. They bombed the water pipeline, the heating oil pipeline and left the Danube so cluttered with debris there was no way for normal shipping of goods for a long time afterward. Impacting everyone along the river.

He also dropped cluster bombs on a city street filled with civilians.

And let's not forget the Chinese Embassy oopsie doopsie.
