Thank you SD :) It seems some of us are already freaking about this as if it is the worst things it happened in the war or as if the terrorists have achieved the ulitmate victory. The lack of perspective among some is just incredible.

I guess you haven't been talking to the same Republican voters I have been talking to. Most of the ones I have been talking when they talk about Iraq, talk about one thing: getting out of there. Talk of winning comes possibly third after talking about casulties.
And I am talking with some very strong Arizona Republicans.

I don't question his dedication. I have never questioned his dedication.
What I am saying is we are losing the war at home!

The same ones that vote over and over again for John McCain? Nothing personal, but I don't care what they think. I've heard nothing like that coming from Repulicans in Texas.

But we have no choice but to win the war at home if we expect to win the war in Iraq. So if we are losing it, and we are, we better find a way to turn it around, fast. And it really is up to the administration to find the way forward on this.

Unfortunately, I see a video being released with graphic violence perpetrated against our boys. I pray this isn't how it ends, but the history of these monsters is not too encouraging.

I think you have talked to few Republicans and you are making it sound like widespread feeling among Republicans. It is not.
How about you, what do you think? Do you have the perspective? I always notice a knee jerk reaction in your posts, that is not the first time you post knee jerk reactionary posts.

The lack of perspective among some is just incredible. Amen, brother. It is a miracle more soldiers have not been taken hostage before now... although it is not clear exactly what happened in this situation yet. The Cincinnati area is still praying for Matt Maupins safe return home.
