N. Koreans Ordered To Raise Their Flag At 2PM, and Listen to Broadcast
N. Korean leadership ordered its citizen to raise their flag and listen to their (government) communique from TV in the evening, according to Sankei Shimbun (of Japan), quoting Japanese government sources.
The paper said it is paying attention this development because it could be related to the launch of Taepodong-2.

Fox News is trying to get it's helicopter up to follow the the launch. At least that's what Shep believes.Fox News has just broken away for a live, up-to-the-minute update from Aruba.

Yeah, that's an old movie. They still run it on TV? I don't think I've ever seen it in the listings in our area.

This person works (or worked) for Johnson Space Center (or maybe Lockheed). I used to be a member of the Johnson Space Center Astronomy Society (which was, and probably still is) a really, really cool astronomy club.

I like you tons and tons, too.
Am humbled by your kindness. Heading for the shower shortly myself but I want to see Heartland's Noah's Ark piece, if I can stay awake that long.

Broken Arrow was the movie with John Travolta as the guy who crashes a stealth bomber in the desert to get its nuke.

Me too. I think people on the West Coast get cheated. When it is 9PM in L.A. the people are forced to watch re airings of todays shows. I think the networks forget that there are 4 time zones in the continental US, so there are always millions of people up and wanting to watch something live.
I can't see why Fox News can't be on 24 hours a day live, and have a west coast taped delayed feed available on satellite so people can watch shows like the Factor and Special Report at night.

I was at a graduation party today. Met a friend that I haven't seen in 20 yrs. We went through 12 yrs of school together.

Same for Portland and Vancouver. I'm not worried, when I was a kid they had us get under our desks for the drills. I'm under my computer consol now so I think I'm safe but it makes it hard to type.
