I almost FReepmailed you about this but I was pretty sure you would be on the job. Ever note that Gabler does that same pointy finger thing that Pelosi uses so much. It's supposed to indicate the importance of the point he is making. If I were within 5 feet of him, I'd bite the thing off.

Who is Neal Gabler?

Fair question. He is a regular on Fox News Watch who is described as a 'media critic' when being introduced. A Google search reveals a very thin resume. Nevertheless, he almost invariably manages to dominate the show's conversation.

Just in case we missed it, Gabler closed by repeating: "The press is brain dead. They ought to start asking real questions and reporting in a real way."

Well, there are two issues here -- the MSM is hard pressed to find anything that resembles an intelligent journalist that can ask anything but a politically biased pile of crap -- and yes, Bush has some severe problems...just for openers, his anti-American, pro-Mexican stance on our borders...and again, that is just for openers. Both of them are damaging this nation beyond comprehension.

Sounds like the kind of guy who drives a dodge viper for all the obvious reasons (overcompensation)

What did Bush say?

As mentioned in my item: "The president goes to Baghdad, and he says at his press conference 'there was uncertainty about the government here, and now there's no uncertainty.'"

The most positive media development for the president has been the fact that on the very day that he visited Baghdad, 24 Iraqis were killed in Kirkuk of all places and 50 were killed around Iraq,

How many Americans were killed that same day in the U.S.???

Could have been worse, he could have discussed mere cats in sub-moronic Africa.

'''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''''

Can't really argue with that statement.

1) Neil Gabler isn't worth space.

2) Border baiters know no boundaries. They could turn a thread on Mother Theresa into a border issue. They are in serious danger of becoming a joke no one pays attention to, and I can't wait.

A "real question" Gabler would ask would probably be along the lines of "Mr. President, Have you quit beating your wife yet?"

That little bitch needs to be drop kicked off that show. Literally. What is he 5'0 110 lbs? Sick Cal on him!

I thought it was the MSM's job to report news as it is, as it stands...and not to be overtly critical or supportive either way. Why, then, does this guy suggest that being critical is the ONLY way to properly deliver these events?

Page 15? Isn't that the page the Times normally reserves for stories about unemployment hitting new lows?

Good line.
Thanks for the ping - - I love the sound of liberals gnashing their teeth.
Gabler and the rest of his simple ilk are talking like they're pounding their keyboards with their fists. Woe is them - - why won't anybody listen to them?
