LOL... I guess those launchers that went up last week are for decoration.
We have all seen the pics... not that I care.
I hope they do... we have more than one new toy that could use a 'real world' test.
/sarcasm
Anyway, looks like he's got a job in North Korea. Maybe they could have him stand in front of the missile, and deny that it's being launched while it's being launched.

Test-launch - Ha - We will strike the infidels with our war launch.
Precisely my thought, how would that be for in your face, they put it up, and before they can confirm any kind of range, we shoot it down, when they complain we can say:
Hey, you said you werent testing so we didnt turn of our anti missile batteries. (Grin)
Next time schedule with us so we can avoid these terrible mistakes.
And then the Threat is largely neutered. You do what we want, or well set off a nuke (via your anti missile battery) right over our own little country!
The way we have coddled this idiot and his father over the decades has always amazed me. They both have the US thinking that they're so crazy that anything we do will set them off. That and the 20,000 artillery tubes aimed at Soeul.
This would be a good opportunity to test our missile defense system.
A perfect opportunity but I doubt we'll do it. Just offer more dialog.
Hello, Mr. Gopher! It's me, Mr. Squirrel.
Just a harmless squirrel.
Not a plastic explosive or anything.
Nothing to be worried about.
I'm just here to make your last hours
on earth as peaceful as possible.
The only reason for denying it would be because of technical difficulties encountered.
They're not seriously planning a sneak attack on anyone.
Thanks for the update.
Someone should put weed killer in his hair.
That would not be advisable. Its still in the test stage and there are still some technical problems need to be worked out.

What they should do is take it down with a laser. Then, if it works, simply release a public statement that it appears that the NK missile had a glitch.
They'd never know what hit them. They'd spend the next several years trying to figure out what they did wrong.
And if it fails, then don't even mention that we tried to shoot it down.
Your post is rather interesting.
If the missile test fails, we can all hope that's what happened.
