U.S. State Dept. did mention "self-defense."

That is a hint that the US military is preparing to either shoot the missle down or destroy the launch facility, or both.

Kanazawa is apparently nice as you say, I have never been there, but hope to visit next summer. (Son is likely getting married to a young lady from Ichinomiya near Nagoya. He is bilingual and teaches ESL at Kanazawa Tech. I guess I made the mistake ( joke) of initiating my sons love for Japan and its people when he was a young Kyudoka, now its marriage and I will have to travel a long way to visit( LOL). My family is very happy with his choice and his fiance, who is a super lady, head and shoulders above the usual run of the mill quality of x generation whiney women one finds in the USA.)

I hope that there is no war with N. Korea, but it seems that we draw closer ever day.
