A 20-ounce Venti banana mocha Frappuccino with whipped cream contains 720 calories and 11 grams of saturated fat, and a banana cream crunch bar weighs in at 630 calories and 25 grams of saturated fat. By comparison, a McDonald's Corp. Big Mac has 560 calories and 11 grams of saturated fat.

If someone isn't bright enough to know these foo-foo drinks are high in fat and calories just like the high fat Big Mac, then maybe an education is in order.

Once you've had a Starbucks, other coffee seems weak and watered down. Starbucks treats its employees well and pays its coffee growers fair prices. What's the problem with that?

I agree, but I'd include some other coffee chains and independent coffeehouses as well. I don't mind at all paying a buck and a half for a black coffee -- if it's good coffee.

What I don't understand is the $4 lattes and similar that they sell. If I was gonna dump cinnamon, chocolate, vanilla, as well as the mass quantities of sugar and cream which clearly annoy the "Center for Science in the Public Interest" into my coffee, then I'd start with cheap coffee, not the good stuff.
