I think the Mexican border is a more pressing political issue. I think the proposal put forward by the President is balanced and workable. But, obviously I appear to be in a minority position on that issue. I think ports represent an even larger threat than borders. And, I think militant Islamic communities are the greatest source of concern. I am not certain but I suspect there is a larger Islamic community in Canada than Mexico.

I am not certain but I suspect there is a larger Islamic community in Canada than Mexico. They would be a lot easier to spot coming from Canada, than from Mexico.
