This whole incident illustrates why most conservatives have so little confidence in the State Department.

Government agencies that have become irrelevant or ineffective...if not outright dangerous in today's world:

1. State Department

2. CIA

3. Homeland Security.

Makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy, don't it?

The War on Terror began with the shooting of Bobby Kennedy. We just didn't know it at the time.

Finally, after 9/11, we realized that this was a war. At least, some of us realized that.
