A few slight bits of bull@#$% which have no business being in that article along with the significant story releasing a photo of the latest target for TF 145:

"The number of U.S. service members killed in Iraq has reached 2,500, the Pentagon announced on Thursday."

The Pentagon made no such announcement. It was the media that has turned this statistic into a landmark event, but I can assure you the Pentagon never called a press conference and announced the 2500th casualty.

"A Marine corporal seen in a video singing about killing members of an Iraqi family says the song was a joke. "It's a song that I made up, and it was nothing more than something supposed to be funny, based off a catchy line of a movie," Cpl. Joshua Belile said in Wednesday's Daily News of Jacksonville."

This is a non-story. A US serviceman made up a song in poor taste and THAT is news? But the MSM never seems to have the time and resources to report the positive stories about rebuilding Iraq and installing democracy...

I suspect we probably shouldn't have the troops sing "The Mountaineers Have Hairy Ears" to the MSM, either...
