Every scumbag over there has go to be looking over his shoulder every minute. At what point does the desire of the non-Iraqi jihadists stop comming to Iraq because we're winning the WOT; and when do the Iraqi "insurgents" finally stop their crap because they see it will not succeed and probably result in their death or capture?

And it's not that ominous kind of quiet that we all dread, either. It's a GOOD quiet. Cue the Jaws theme music....

The U.S. military statement said Sheikh Aqeel provided financial support to subordinate leaders and supplied them with improvised explosive devices (IEDs), or roadside bombs
"The IEDs supplied by Aqeel are linked to the deaths of at least six coalition soldiers in 2005 and the deaths of a coalition soldier and an interpreter on June 8," the statement said.

The DemorcRat Party...er...Al Queda is falling apart. Look for this to quickly turn into a mopping up operation by the Iraqi Army.
Wonder if this organization is falling apart because there is no ACLU office in Iraq??

They risked their very lives to vote. Some lost their lives trying. It didn't stop them from going to the polls the next election - in fact, the numbers increased. My brother was over there for the first election, and was just in awe. You can hear it in his voice when he speaks of so many Iraqis walking miles to vote at the risk of their lives -- and many of us in the U.S. won't even bother to drive down the street to cast a ballot in safety.
