It's actually been in the public domain that Iran has helped the U.S. by aiding the anti-Talibani Northern Alliance in Afghanistan.

...but the above Al Qaeda report seems to go a bit further.

Food for thought that runs contrary to the "conventional wisdom" on Iran.

Iran arms anti al-Qaeda fighters like the Badr and the Madhi Army. I am sure that is what al-Qaeda sees as Iran helping the US.
