The news report said they evacuated the block because they had to disarm the loaded LAW. The accused claims to be a Federal firearms dealer. There was also a dud hand grenade and fake bomb with wires to a wind-up alarm clock. ..Also, his recently ex-girlfriend works in law enforcement.

Anyway, to disarm it, they should have just shot it off. Safer that way, I'd bet.
