According to local news reports, this was an awesome neighbor who was very friendly, professional - and threw great block parties.
I live 1.79 miles away from this guy.

"...police found an armor-penetrating rocket launcher, machine guns and dozens of other weapons."
So, is Babs finally getting her nose bobbed? He may just need the extra firepower.

That's quite the arsenal he had on hand. Who were his patients? Maybe they needed all the help they could get.

I'd bet the LAW was a non-firing replica and the cops and MSM screwed up the story.

The news report said they evacuated the block because they had to disarm the loaded LAW. The accused claims to be a Federal firearms dealer. There was also a dud hand grenade and fake bomb with wires to a wind-up alarm clock. ..Also, his recently ex-girlfriend works in law enforcement.

How much of the deer is left for processing after you hit it with the LAW?Don't be ridiculous. Sheesh. You don't hunt deer with a LAW!!
For DEER HUNTING, a 12-Pound MOUNTAIN HOWITZER is what you use:
First, load your howitzer with a 148-musket ball load (individual balls should be the size of a shotgun slug).
Second, wait for deer to come along. PROPER DISTANCE IS KEY TO MEAT RECOVERY.
Third, fire the howizter:

And, the lovely results:

WARNING: In order to preserve a useful amount of meat, do NOT shoot deer at a distance of less than 100 yards (or one football field away). This nice 8-point buck was taken at 120 yards.
For more info in the proper use of YOUR mountain howitzer for deer hunting, visit: http://www.buckstix.com/howitzer.htm

The news report said they evacuated the block because they had to disarm the loaded LAW. Really? They have never seen one before - how did they know?
Anyway, to disarm it, they should have just shot it off. Safer that way, I'd bet.

I was thinking about your original post - the load could have been a replica, along with the LAW.

My only question is where do I get that armor that protects you from non-armor-penetrating rockets. =)
