The leaders of the state's Democratic and Republican parties have asked voters not to cast ballots for state Supreme Court candidate Rachel Lea Hunter, whose fiery rhetoric in recent weeks has included comparing the actions of a black congressional candidate to that of a slave.
"She's unstable and unqualified, and the thought of her serving on the highest court in North Carolina is scary," state Republican party chairman Ferrell Blount said Tuesday.
Blount's comments came after Hunter, a former Republican running as a Democrat, used the title "Dur Fuhrer" -- commonly associated with Nazi leader Adolf Hitler -- when referring to state Democratic party chief Jerry Meek. Such rhetoric led Meek to endorse Republican-backed incumbent Mark Martin in his race with Hunter for a seat on the state's high court.
"From my own personal perspective, I think she lacks the judgment and temperament to be a judge at any level," said Meek, who called Martin an "able and competent member of the court."

To their credit, the NC Democrats have endorsed her opponent, but still, it gives some insight into what some leftists think of African Americans.
The media silence is deafening, As expected. The dems racist remarks are not surprising.
It looks like the Dims are pulling all stops and their bathtub is sinking. The more desperate they become, the more they talk, the more we learn who they really are.

It has to be read to be believed. And even then, it's hard to believe.
But libs talk like this on the internet, where they can make their slanderous comments anonymously -- They say this about Condi Rice or Clarence Thomas. The "fuher" comment, has been made countless times about President Bush -- Ditto comments about Rush, Delay, and any other conservative who dares stand up for principle. Ken Starr proved his case, and then was turned into a villian by this slimey crowd.
The only difference is that THIS dem wasn't anonymous. She forget to slime and hide.
It certainly does! Good for Jerry Meek! I don't know if I would as a Republican would have that sort of integrity. Senate Democrats certainly haven't with their Robert Byrd double standard, to name just one of many examples.
Even my sister, who's always been a stone cold leftist who thinks the greatest nation in the world is France, is fed up with the way Democrats pay condescend to the black people in their party! She's been forced to admit, not by me or any other conservatives she knows, but the the obvious facts. The Bush administration neither condescends to nor ignores minorities; it recognizes merit regardless of race in men and women like Rice and Powell (who I'm not a fan of but do respect)--- merit the typical Democrat apparatchik would find intimidating since it's so much harder to control than Sharpton, Jackson, Smiley and Eric Dysons whose belief in socialism will never allow them to seriously challenge their movement's leaders.

I offer another simile, which is less racially charged, to
describe the behavior. How many of us have a pet, maybe a cat
or dog, that eats and then disgorges its meal because it ate
grass or has a hairball? Sometimes, the owner is not
immediately aware of the incident and the animal will return
to the area and eat the food that it vomited up and so we have
the expression of an animal returning to its own vomit. The
behavior in question was like that.
