As I was just told in a freepmail by a smart freeper, we too often let the left get away with saying that Al Qaeda wasn't in Iraq before the war, which of course is a lie and a relatively easy lie to disprove, but we also shouldn't let the left tie us down to Al Qaeda exclusively since these jihadist groups work together.
Funny I should have seen your thread today. It was exceptionally timely for me. I found myself walking into a knockdown dragout discussion, totally unintentionally, with a couple of lib coworkers vs. a conservative compadre just after I had printed off your thread starter. Needless to say, after I'd read off several of the first entries you had from the NYSlimes and the 'Toons' Justice Department, they were astonished... totally in denial... and trying to change the subject.
This is going to come in extremely handy in the months to come.
I will not lose track of it.
PS: I expect to be around progressively more often again. I was going through a rough spot and have had to slowly work myself out of it. I never lost touch with FR, but didn't post much.
