Brussels, Belgium (AHN) - Running out of ideas to name their 15th child, a Belgian couple submitted an ad in a local newspaper to get help from the public with ideas.
The couple, Brigitte Dillen and Ivo Driessens, from Merksem, have given all their children names ending with 'y' but cannot think of yet another one for their latest addition.
The new baby will be a brother or sister for Wendy (20), Cindy (18), Jimmy (17), Brendy (16), Sonny (15), Sandy (14), Purdy (13), Chardy (9), Yorry (8), Yony (6), Britney (5), Yenty (3), Ruby (2) and Xanty (1).
According to Ananova.com, the father says: "My wife has said she wants to stop having babies after her 40th birthday. She's 37 now. We still have time for twins."
I've got an uncle that was named E. J. Just initials. No names. When he entered the military, it gave the bureacrats fits.
Bobby and Susy
How about Patience.
Lazy, Maisy, Crazy, Lack-of-Restrainty
How about the obvious... Vasectomy.
Sunday, Monday, Tuesday . . . .
Potential winner here.
There's a good (probably honest) name they hadn't thought of yet...
How about Bruckey? They haven't used that one yet!
When my father was a medical student, they were required to deliver a certain number of babies to graduate. Their services were primarily to the indigent (ghetto) population. They made housecalls.
On one particularly difficult delivery, when filling out the birth certificate, they asked the mother what name she'd chosen for the child. She had no idea--had given the matter not an iota of thought. So they named it after the Dean of the medical school.
This was circa 1940. Somehow word got back to the dean and he had my dad and his partner on the carpet. "Gentlemen, I believe that everyone is entitled to one mistake in life and you have had yours. If I hear your names one more time..." Anyhow they both graduated.

I told this story to a doctor I used to work out with and he told me that he had once named a black baby Meconium Brown.
