Coming Soon- Rally in Boise, ID!
Tuesday, 31 May 2006
For General Release
May 31, 2006

In quick succession to San Antonio, Operation Completion will be hosting a rally on the South Steps of the Capitol in Boise, ID! With the conservative community and nearby military base, the area is naturally welcoming to Operation Completion’s mission of raising public enthusiasm for our military and the job they are doing.

Idaho Coordinator Emy Bowers commented on the fast-approaching rally, stating:

“This rally, with its inspiring speakers and music, will challenge people to show their support of our troops instead of remaining silent and letting misinformation be spread - that's what Operation Completion is all about.”

She went on to say, “The importance of the vision of completion, supporting our troops as they complete their worthwhile and successful missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, will be communicated in an exciting way, and I believe that our Boise rally will be met with enthusiasm from the public.”

The rally will be on Flag Day, June 14th, and will begin at 6pm with a rousing performance by the young band, The Right Brothers and their new song “Why We’re Here”. The band plans to tour with Operation Completion for the duration of their rallies.

Guest speakers, to be named at a later date, will speak on the importance of homeland support for our troops and the vital mission to be accomplished overseas.

All are invited to come and celebrate our freedom, stand up for America, and most importantly, show support our brave soldiers.

A special invitation is extended to all veterans and active duty or reserve soldiers, and their families. Operations Manager Julie Howe explains, saying, “These are the people who sacrifice the most, and we want them to see that there are many, many citizens who appreciate their willingness to give up so much.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring American flags and poster-board signs to hold and wave, demonstrating their enthusiasm for the purpose of Operation Completion.

This group is awesome...they have already done 2 rallies, one in San Antonio TX and one in Sacramento CA. They do a great job showing the progress that really has been made in Iraq and Afghanistan (check out the news on their site, www.operationcompletion.org)

The Chairman of the Board (Micah Derry, 19 years old) was on Fox News Sunday night, but other than that mainstream media doesn't seem to want to cover them *oh shock*.

Supporting the Troops and supporting them in finishing their job is so crucial, but so many people look the other way. Lets support these guys in their endevour to do the right thing, and lets do our part as well.

I should also mention that they are part of the DoDs "America Supports You" network. The Right Brothers are also touring with them...I know some freepers out there are TRB fans.

Regards,
Joe
