You are so right about that. I just keep thinking about the Libs. making fun of the President when he said "I looked into his eyes..." and I trust him. But I remember my father and grandfather saying that same type of statement about men they would do business with- most always worked out. Love our President. Very proud.

I thought that as well especially as they and the "real conservatives" have crucified him for the similar comments over Putin.

I believe though President Bush speaks from the heart and says things at the time that he believes especially when referring to people. He sees people as people not the leader of this or that faction.

It can make him unpopular in certain quarters but it shows where his principles and priorities are and that is what makes him special.
