I love military aircraft. I just wish we lived close to an airbase so I could see them flying on a regular basis. I love the sound of the jet engines roaring overhead! *sigh*

Found this in one of my old cruise books, circa 1967.
A sunset from somewhere in the Western Pacific, most likely Subic Bay, PI, with the text by Commander Hershberger, our Ship's Chaplain...

I love it too. Did this in honor of my Air Force son. (though he is not a pilot)
