Alright! Should be interesting... look out for flying pies (and other objects) being hurled toward the stage.

If Ann is the Paris hilton of the right, then he's probably Howard Dean of the right.

Listen, do yourself a big favor. I see by the numerous replies on this thread you have a.........thing shall we say about Ms. Coulter?

Why don't you put her book down (and pictures), turn off your computer, go outside, look at the sky and the sun, breathe deeply and get on with your life. Ok?

Thanks for calling.

You conveniently left out that Malkin said she would never have used the words Coulter used, and it was completely inappropriate to go after them on their relationships with their husbands.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. For me it's the entire package. Tall (my wife's 5' 11"), thin, brainy and most of all sassy.

..thank you for your service Annie.

.Coulter is a man?

the girly men at the Times are apparently envious at the size of your stones.

Good point about Malkin, and she's usually not reticent to speak her mind. If SHE thinks AC went too far, chances are, she did.

I think that AC fed the liberal's stereotypes about conservatives being mean-spritied... Just like Savage's comments on CNBC were disgraceful and supported libs' bogus arguments that conservatives are mean, so did these comments. Just absolutely DUMB IMHO. She could have ripped into them for being media whoresbut NOT inject their husbands and families into the conversation.

Whatever floats your boat :-) I don't swing towards girls so I don't feel qualified to say anything about their looks (except maybe for Janet Reno-- the goggles, they do nothing! ;-). I know what my husband likes and that's why I work out every day.

I know what *I* like-- Mel Gibson, and my husband. Not necessarily in that order :-)

Name one time I went after someone's person as opposed to what they say.

Ummm How about this?

she'll sell a lot more books because of all the added publicity. Pretty cheap. And just a little sleazy.

AC's book is a polemic; defined as follows: po·lem·ic n. 1. A controversial argument, especially one refuting or attacking a specific opinion or doctrine. 2. A person engaged in or inclined to controversy, argument, or refutation.

Since gives you the vapors to read such scurillous charges against the left, don't buy the book and don't post your cattiness about AC while pretending that you're not attacking her personally. You do not have the intellectual firepower to argue your point so you come out to insult AC supporters while demanding rhetorical surrender to your minority view. This shows you to be yet another self-hating supercilious conservative, more concerned about how you look to your clique and to the left than you are with fighting the good fight.

Jamieson acts a true gentlemen here, defending the honor of sister in arms from snarky statements of you and other thumb suckers--Bravo, lad.

With regard to AC, long with the Goldwater post above, consider the 11th commandment: Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican.

Malkin also went into a rant when someone labeled her a "South Park conservative," while Coulter went on and on about how funny she thought "Team America: World Police" was.

They agree, but they roll differently. Michelle is OK but kinda uptight, I think.

OK. A 14 year old boy.

An anorexic with a butt that you can hold in one hand ain't my idea of an attractive figure.

C'mon, sink. When you criticize Ann for her choice of words, I'm with you. But attacking her appearance undermines your message.

"You conveniently left out that Malkin said she would never have used the words Coulter used, and it was completely inappropriate to go after them on their relationships with their husbands."

And this is backing away? Malkin and Ingraham, didn't like the "jersey girl" comments but are still recommending the book. As usual, you stoop to distortion in a vain attempt to support your arguments (such as they are). While you consider yourself to be true conservative, you certainly don't sound like one.

Coulter sees nothing wrong with attacking the marriages of women and dead men she doesn't know. Those marriages have nothing to do with her points.

It's just Coulterism: anything and everything is fair game for criticism. Bush can be accused of boozing because he nominated Harriett Miers; Miers can be called a "cleaning lady"; 9/11 widows can be told to pose for Playboy to elevate their images.

Get used to it. If Ann approves, and so many around her approve of Ann, it must be OK.

Could you please take a deep breath before your post? I understand the desire to defend Ann against some of these worthless attacks, but you don't have to throw a punch at every single person who does...you seem to be itching for a fight, and I don't think its helping the discussion one bit.
