A scientist can make an experiment to experiment if gravity exists, although he knows that it does. The scientist is still a scientist. Again, a suggestion, look up the definition of scientist.

Following the thread that led up to that makes one wonder. It's like someone said that Michael Jordan was the ultimate playground basketball dude and, since Jordan is so much more than that, it is OK to characterize their misstatement as proof that Michael Jordan doesn't exist, becaue he obviously ain't no playground player.
