Yes, the United States should try to win (the comment wasn't supposed to touch on that) and Americans should support their team, but it isn't surrender in the least to simply let other countries be number one in something. Soccer is a game . During the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, a Korean skater was disqualified for knocking over an American skater. Later, during the World Cup, when the Koreans scored a goal, at least one of the players was shown making a skating motion, mimicking the knock over from the Olympics. Are you suggesting that the Americans act in such a manner?
