Huh???? Negroponte is the current National Intelligence Director. This is from 1999, when Clinton wasn't paying attention, while Saddam was playing footsie and planning with Al Qaeda.

I think he's referring to how Negroponte dragged his feet on releasing any docs, until Pres. Bush had to order that it be done.

These docs should have been studied and released 3 years ago. Negroponte has only been on the scene for a year or so, I believe, but still he could have expedited the project and instead kept opposing the release of any docs. It think just about any national security bureaucrat hates releasing docs (unless it's libs leaking to the MSM), but still Negroponte should have grasped how important it is for these docs to be read and translated.

Ever since he SAT on the Saddam docs for 2yrs while Bush was savaged as a 'liar' and all this BS I don't trust him.

Add in that he was spinning it one way, and when backed into a corner he started to spin another.

Bubba passed out rose colored glasses at every "event". He did nothing after 1993 when we were hit on our own soil. It was just another minor event which was over with a few deaths. No big deal to him. The Towers, the Cole...No big deal.

He made it his own perfect world...run by himself and all solutions were based on money. He projects the same things today. Nothing really bothers him. He's just one of those people.
