Spoiling from the edge
By Salena Zito TRIBUNE-REVIEW Sunday, June 11, 2006
The year 2008 will be the first open presidential race since 1952 without a sitting president or vice president in the mix. It's the ultimate free-for-all for both parties.
Not surprisingly, Democrats are looking for a rock star. They have spent the beginning of the 21st century not being the party in power; they're so desirous they can taste it.

Democrats are looking for a rock star The Dims only chance of winning (barring an October Surprise crippling the Republican candidate) is to find a total unknown late in the Primary cycle like they did with Carter.
All of the present front runners are well known to the public as loons and idiots.

Democrats are looking for a rock star
=================================================
That line says it all. Bill Clinton considered himself a rock star. He wanted adoration and BJs. We don't need a president rock star; we need a leadere.

Old Bill may well be a 'rocked' star but Hillry is a goddess and like that old commercial it is not nice to mess with mommy nature. Liberals standard is 'whatever it takes'.

You took the words right off my keyboard.
As if anyone will question either Clinton's shady dealings. Hell will freeze over first.

Wonder if Kerry is going to kill Hillary about her inexperience as a 1 1/2 term Senator.

They also did pretty much the same with Clinton, he was unknown ot most people at the time he won the nomination. I guess being unknown and a convincing liar is their ideal candidate.

So a good strategy for the Dims is to find a Governor from a Small Southern State that has had little national exposure and who is an Exceptional Liar.
It would also be a plus if he no qualms about making deals with Chinese quasi government corporations to trade favors for campaign cash.
He also should consider citizenship (or lack there of) as no impediment to voting in national elections.
These are just a few of the qualities that the Dims should be looking for in their next Presidential candidate.

When Kerry gets desperate enough, he will authorize the release of the Barrett Report, failing (1) to see the hypocrisy surrounding his failure to order full disclosure of his military records and (2) consider the possibility that Hillary already has a copy of the full Monty ready to hit the streets when needed.

I agree. I am praying for a Gore/Hillary/Kerry fight. The funniest thing about it is that none of them will win any more states than they did in 2000/2004.
well, maybe Gore would have a shot at Tennessee again.
