No paleos, no power. It's as simple as that. As for stupid, who has had 5 years plus to do deals with Ted Kennedy? Neo conservatives like Bush and McCain. It is stupid and arrogant to alienate your base.

I'm no Buchanan worshipper. I voted for Bush twice. I think he has done great things re the WOT. We got two fine justices, but almost got Harriet Myers, until we dragged the President kicking and screaming to someone more, shall we say, conservative? It seems to me that "neo" conservatives are more like democrats circa 1960.
