We DO know the moral and reenlistment numbers are up, which would indicate satisfaction with the military as a career opportunity.

The "moral. . . numbers" are up, too? That's good news. How, exactly, do we measure that again? ;)

Moral, not moral numbers. The only judge I can think of is reenlistment numbers and reports from observers within the military. For example, anyone talking to the troops during Clinton would constantly hear negatives which are not heard today.

Another Freeper wrote about attendance of a Clinton versus Bush address to the troops at a specific facility, and said Clinton was a horrible draw by comparison. The press, for what that's worth, also reports about troop moral overall.
