It's already happening; doc left my 66 y/o sick mother to die by with-holding treatment when we had a window of opportunity for quality life for a few more years. I had to "steal" her away after she quit walking.
Oh, the doctor? From Pakistan ... and ohhhh...do NOT get me started there!

DOCTORS should be allowed to help to kill terminally ill patients with or without their consent, a leading professor of medical ethics said yesterday. Emeritus Professor Len Doyal said that doctor-assisted deaths were already taking place in Britain on a regular and recurring basis and needed to be better regulated.
So Len wants the doctors to be able to kill without the patients consent, but in the next paragraph he calls for such to be better regulated.
Obviously a brilliant moonbat liberal.

I think you skipped the partI didn't skip that part. Nor did I refer to it in what I quoted from the article. See, the thing is, when you quote just a point from the post, that is logically what one is responding to.
Sorry you wasted your time, okay?

euthanasia where death is foreseen with certainty.Every single person on the planet will face death. That is certain. Therefore, everyone should be euthanized.

Emeritus Professor Len Doyal said that doctor-assisted deaths were already taking place in Britain on a regular and recurring basisThis is a necessary component of socialized medicine. The more socialized our system becomes the more insistent will be the calls for "euthanasia" and the more it will be practiced with or without legal sanction.

Hmm...Terri Shiavo anyone?
Her husband gave consent. Apparently in United Kingdom they will not even have to get a husband or wife's request. Kinda scarry. Terri fought a good fight and now is at peace with God. All of us down here should let her sould rest.

Exactly!
Follow the money (it ain't in keeping medically vulnerable people alive).
I do have to wonder if liberals get it....why would any one want someone else (the government) to have that much power over them? I got into a fight with a liberal a few weeks ago and she became indignant b/c I was pointing out the socialist slope this country is on...she got mad that I called "her country" socialist! She was (is) pro-Dean, pro-big government and wants "nationalized health care" but doesn't think she is socialist!? How the heck can a liberal not see how socialist liberals are?....guess it is the elitism and hypocrisy that is core to them.

I long ago came to the conclusion that "ethics" are morals for people that don't have any. That's great.

It's beginning to look like you don't need to reread it. Sadly, it appears that we're living it.

Yes but "He'll be stone dead in a moment" Well, I can't take him like that. It's against regulations.
