TEHRAN: Irans Defence Minister Mostafa Mohamed Najjar yesterday expressed the militarys readiness to respond in case of US attack over its nuclear programme.
The Islamic republics armed forces are fully ready to make sacrifices for the sake of religion, homeland and materialisation of the supreme leaders commands, Najjar was quoted as saying by the official news agency IRNA.
The defence minister also stressed that Iran considers psychological wars and propaganda tricks inefficient.
Last Sunday, the spiritual leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei shunned any threat or pressure to stop the countrys controversial nuclear activities by Western powers that are convinced Iran is seeking either the bomb or the strategic capacity to make one.
Iran has rejected the Wests demands to suspend its nuclear programme, insisting it wants only to generate electricity. The deadlock could open the door to UN sanctions or even military action, something the US has not ruled out although Russia and China are opposed. AFP

A wise man recognizes the difference between propaganda and psychological thicks and "FACTS".
We shall soon see if this is a wise man.

Sure, and Ahmadjihad will be dedicating a new synagogue in downtown Tehran next week.

DAYUM right!
There isn't necessarily anything bad about people getting killed, as long as the RIGHT people are getting killed.

Or -- are you just playing, "Baghdad Bob"'s tune?...

There will be no invasion, in the usual sense of the word...rather a slow strangulation, by blockade: close their external banking, stop their sea transport, stop all commercial flights in and out of the country...I would guess it will take about 60 days to achieve a government change

I really do not think that there will be an attack by the U.S. We have our hands full. I fully support a preemptive attack by Israel to designated targets on Iranian soil using low yield nuclear weapons.
