MSNBC would be a great place to have a cable news outlet. They have everything they need except a President and viewers.

Rick Kaplan Resigns: What's Next?
Glaringly absent from today's announcement about Rick Kaplan's resignation is any mention of what's next for the MSNBC president. He's packing up and leaving today -- but where is he going?
The tip box has been buzzing about Rick Kaplan lately. "Rick is very well likely on the very, very short list for the GMA job," one tipster wrote on Monday. "Those familiar with Kaplan's contractural status know that Rick has only until the early winter months of 2007 under his current deal and the GE bean counters may indeed look elsewhere come the end of the year." A few hours later, a second e-mailer said: "Rumors are he'll be fired from MSNBC at any point, and he wants to get back to a real network." And on Tuesday, a third tipster wrote: "Rick Kaplan now in play for Ben Sherwood's job at GMA. Also, Jonathan Wald from CNBC."
On Tuesday, FTVLive said "word is that Kaplan is quietly pitching himself for the GMA gig."

Yes, of the famed "war room", another myth created by the DNC/MSM as cover for the supposed prowess of Clinton's political abilities.
In reality the "war room" consisted entirely of MSM and Hollywood working with the DNC.
Even some on FR still refer to Clinton as a master of PR, as if he could have done it alone, lol.

I thought pMSNBC was just there as a "place holder" on cable and sat systems until they could get the right price for it?
