It's very obvious he is a closet lib. His evening show is slanted to ET crowd. I stopped watching it a couple of years ago.
It still like Britt's show, although Fred & Bill get on my nerves with some of their neocon ramblings.
Charles Krauthammer is great! Clear thinking and devoid of an agenda; he tells it like it actually is. Truly a no spin dude!

I don't think many freepers ever thought Shep was conservative. There were too many slips over the years that revealed his liberal bent.
Hired as a boyish-looking, pretty-boy commentator to appeal to the evening Oprah crowd, he's starting to pall over the long haul because there's not too much depth behind the facade.

Fred & Bill get on my nerves Yeah, I stopped watching with any regularity back in March or so.
Smith never appealed to me. Too much makeup for one thing, and I usually listen, rather than watch on my 2.3" tv
next to the pc, any way. Still didn't help.
Then I read an interview he gave. He goes out of his way to edit out adverbs in his copy.
There are other little things that just add up.
