Kean was in our legislature for a total of four years. He has no experience other than the inside track due to his father's continued influence here.

Not bright at all and when Dick Cheney came to NJ for a fundraiser for Kean, Kean managed to not appear until Cheney left.

He's as despicable as his father.

The real questions is when will those republicans demanding purity learn that any republican is better than a dem

Okay.

Ummmmm....So if Bill or Hillary Clinton switched parties...you'd vote for them.

Evidently having Leahy as Chairman of Judiciary doesn't seem to phase some of the unappeasables.

Rush has become irrelevant lately.

Particularly for those of us who get our news from FR.

Freepers have better commentary and the best links for true facts.

Evidently he's got more than a passing interest in Plan B.

They have to run again in November, I assume?

Yes, that is correct.

it is important that he consider himself a Republican

he needs his tag of republican.
just as much as I want pubbies to hold the majority.

if he became a dem he would be powerless
if he became an independant he'd have even less than that

being held by the throat by liberals...
only for as long as they can get away with it

This kind of a moment would require a fine CIGAR!

Bilbray's win will be written off as "expected" because CA-50 is a "solid Republican district." Pathetic.

Bilbray use to represent my district, which is more liberal than the 50th. He will probably tack right now that he represents a more conservative district.

As frustrated as I am with Republicans, it is such fun to see Democrats lose.

Its what I suspected all along. This seat was always safe and the LameMSM had to make it seem to competitive to sell papers and try to undermine the republicans--which in light of their awful performance in DC they deserve.

The entire story of the Republican hold on congress being up for grabs this years is nothing but a farsical LameMSM story that bears absolutely no relation to reality. But they sue had all of us going.

IMHO everyone in the country is fed up with the horrible leadership of the republicans, however, the thought of House Leader Pelosi and Chairman of Ways and Means Rangel is enough to make most go to the polls. Completely negative campaigns don't work, witness the 2004 presidential campaign. However, this goes beyond a negative campaign. Many conservatves such as myself view this electon as necessary for the survival of the country. That is why we will all hold our noses and vote.

However, if these dastardly republicans expect to maintain power, they better get their asses in gear and start governing. The greatest threat to the republicans is being perceived by their base as being the same as democrats. Once their is no differentiaton, they are finished.

The next contest will be nothing. This one was for all the marbles. You can be sure the Dems will not be pumping millions into this district. The race will have lost its symbolic value.

With 96 % of the vote in it's Bilbray 49.5%, Busby 45.3%.

The House is no danger. We actually have conservatives there who aren't ashamed of it.

I share the whiners' frustration, but we have to win this battle at the primary election level. In the General, ya gotta vote Republican, even if you hold your nose.

Bilbray, he got my vote last night on immigration alone.

He's not perfect, but it's heartening to see a good turnout for a GOP candidate after the RandyScandal and the support Dem's get here in the local media.

McCain can go to... well, you know where!
