Oh, and it's worth noting that his little "Crashing the Gate" screed was well down in the THOUSANDS on recent Amazon.com ratings. And, that every single candidate that he has funneled money toward has LOST their election. Somehow, Wonkette conveniently ignores those facts. But I doubt they'd be ignored if they applied to a conservative blogger.

It's an adoring piece on Zuniga written by a journalist who is a long-time admirer of Moulitsas.
It's like Time asking Jon Stewart to write a piece about Stephen Colbert.
Not even a pretense of objectivity.
Not that I dislike the piece: Zuniga is the gift that keeps on giving.

Markos Moulitsas Zuniga :"If I cared what commenters said, I'd kill myself."
Me: "If I were Markos Moulitsas Zuniga, I'd kill myself."

Oh, good catches. This is what freepers do best -- expose the lies of the leftist media.

What does he look like? A few freepers have said the description in the article makes him sound like a meth user.

"Funny, I don't remember adoring pieces in Time, Newsweek or the Washington Post about Free Republic"
Silly man.
To get into "Koran abuse" Newsweek, you need to be s stark raving, America-hating, loony left crazy.
Kos fits that perfectly.

Compact and wiry, Moulitsas, 34, exudes quivering intensity. !?!?!?!?!
That reads like something Morford would write.

The book tour for Crashing the Gate kicked off in Los Angeles with a cocktail party co-hosted by liberal luminary Norman Lear
Is that what they're calling communist propagandists today?

On Thursday, almost a thousand of these loyal readers and contributors along with Wesley Clark, Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada and former Virginia governor and potential '08 contender Mark Warner will gather in Las Vegas for a pep rally-cum-political conference, "Yearly Kos."Wow. Clark, Reid, and Warner are going to pander to "almost a thousand" of these looney lefties. Good. This guy will do his part in pushing the dem party right off that leftist whacko cliff.

Any conservative who exhibited "quivering intensity" would be smeared as a raving lunatic right off -- this puff piece by one of the Kos pals displays once more the flagrant biases of the MSM. As others will note, FR has not won such love-letters from the MSM despite having far more significant membership numbers and accomplishments in the public arena.

Adam Nagourney, a political reporter for the New York Times who's traveled with Moulitsas and follows the blog, admits to being beguiled, "I like the guy, even though his site called me and Elisabeth Bumiller the two worst reporters in America," says Nagourney. "I know I should hate him, but I can't."
Can you say "Stockholm Syndrome"?
