Yes, in fact, I've met several of both sexes. You are correct that there are fewer and fewer today than there were in earlier years.

But the bottom line is that should the Church water down the Divine Law because society these days is growing more and more perverse?

Because if they water down the standards here, then, perhaps what's next?

How about:

• well, the morning-after pill is OK. After all, the fertilized egg wasn't implanted yet, so it's not really a baby. Maybe the church (small "C") will catch up with science.
• Well, the person is living in such pain. Let's allow him to die with dignity.
• Modern science knows that homosexuality is a genetic function. Maybe the Church will accept that reality and recognize that the Bible is just a bunch of fables...not meant to be taken literally...
• etc.
• etc.
• etc.

Something is either moral or its not.

If one bases his morality upon what's acceptible in society, then I'd submit that that person has no core morality at all.

That may be OK for some "churches", but I, for one, am thankful that the Church has more of an eternal outlook.
