Wow! Rallies on each coast will take place simultaneously. Sony is responsible for producing and distributing the blasphemous movie. We are now rushing invitations to 120,000 Catholics. Reuters reported that Archbishop Amato, Secretary of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, called for organized protests against The Da Vinci Code film similar to the demonstrations organized against the 1988 Martin Scorcese film, The Last Temptation of Christ (Reuters, April 28, 2006). Among other insults to Our Lord and the Catholic Faith, the movie suggests Jesus and Mary Magdalene were married, and had a child – brutal blasphemy! Show your rejection for The Da Vinci Code. And they don't seem to yet to even have a hint at Brown's other book : Angels & Demons with Hanks character, Langdon, once again in the thick of it. I believe it will also hit the silver screens with Hanks sallying forth.

I can hardly wait - the uproar will be deafening.

I am just amused that none of the protesters have even mentioned A & D - nor all the other NON-fiction books that tell of Brown's "ideas" - ideas that have been around for 2000 years.

It would seem not many people read or research these days. That also amazes me. As a writer/artist and biblioholic, the book stores were my candy stores, But now, the Internet! The world at my fingertips! GOOGLE is my researcher supreme.

From my home office, I can browse the Louvre, the Vatican art Collection, the libraries and museums of the world that I can't travel to in person. I can afford to buy books I can't (otherwise) afford to buy.

Can't wait for the A&D movie - this is gonna be fun. ;o)
