Upon entering the hospital, I was escorted by a guard to the TB ward, and did not get out until 7 months later.

Wow! How long ago was that? Does this still happen today?

It was about 35+ years ago. I don't know if it still goes on. Really screwed up my life. And I wasn't even contagious!
