No local radio promotion for them, but the libs are buying tickets anyway. "What kind of music do these girls play,
anyway? Well, it doesn't matter. Air America told me to
go out and support them, so I'm buying tickets to their
concert..."

Righteous. Less socialist money, for Hillary.
Someone occasionally sent me tapes of a folk show from Kent,
Ohio (WKSU)--I do like some folk, but mostly country. When
the Dixie Chicks controversy popped up, the host of this show,
Jim Blum, suddenly started playing some Chicks music including "Traveling Soldier". Hmmm...Same guy did a show on the night
Clinton was impeached (Dec '98) and talked about the day being "...on this tragic day in American history".
I occasionally check out--and post on--the Air America Boston messageboard (using names like Patrick Kennedy School of Driving) and someone posted an angry screed at the Boston station that refuses to play the Chicks. (Just went to find it and saw that, due to recent posts that were either Viagra spam or wisecracks by conservatives like me, you now need to register to post or see posts. LOL)
