"And my brother Muhammad was hiding under the bed when the U.S. military hit him with the butt of the gun and the started shooting him under the bed. The U.S. military then shot me and I was showered in blood. We couldn't leave the house because the U.S. military surrounded the area with a large number of soldiers."Strange wording. Sounds coached to me, a 12 year old would have just called them soldiers, IMHO..

We will make Marines pay to shut the MSM up. Too bad this never works.

Strange wording.
The child was probably speaking Arabic, don't you think? This is a translation.
Since NewsMax probably doesn't have too many reporters on the scene, I wonder where they got this account.

Strange wording. Sounds coached to me, a 12 year old would have just called them soldiers, IMHO.. I wouldn't put much store in the "quotations" since it's unlikely she spoke in English. The translator may not have been of the highest quality. There are only so many English speakers to go around, and this reporter may have gotten stuck with a real dufus. Plus the possibility that the translator, like the original reporter, and the doctor who signed the death certificates, is in thrall to the terrorists, or is one of them.

Maybe not even soldiers...I could hear her just saying "Americans"...
This is a VERY coached child...
I would also hear her describing the vehicle that was blown up by the IED, a "truck"..which is probably what I would call it...if called upon to just tell what I saw or knew about.
