I expect no less from this vast, swollen mass of liberalism, cellulite, corruption and vitriol.

Hey, Teddy, come brag about that to the majority of the people in Iraq who are glad to be free of Saddam Hussein and his oppressive, brutal rule.

The people who were weeping with joy about the opportunity to aprticpated in free elections.

Come brag about your losing vote to the survivors of voters who risked their lives to go to the polls under massive terrorist threats and lost their lives to mortars or car bombs that day.

You know, the majority of the people that the disgusting, Marxist media never talks about.

Stuff it, Teddy.

Massachusetts is probably like Iraq pre-liberation.

Their votes do not count, as ballots are made up for Teddy.

Today:

Massachusetts (before its liberation):

Iraq (after its liberation):

Hero...

On inauguration day, January 20, 1961, President Kennedy proclaimed to a national television audience that Americans would "pay any price, bear any burden, meet any hardship, support any friend, oppose any foe, to assure the survival and success of liberty."

Zero...

Kennedy's a socialist, an enemy of the unborn, a well-born thief who wants to tax the middle class to pay for his elitist projects, a despiser and underminer of morality, and, in his personal life, a bad role model for young people.

All that said, I have to admit he voted right when he voted against the Iraq invasion. Every day's headlines confirm that it was a mistake. What a mess we've gotten into - and there was no national-security imperative to launch this invasion against a country that had no military to speak of, no WMDS, no role in 9-11, and that was contained by tough sanctions and a comprehensive monitoring and flyover program - a containment system that was much more aggressive and thorough than our containment of the Soviet Union during the Cold War. Iraq was no threat, and our leaders were warned - by generals, among others, (and by George Bush Sr.'s own book) that an invasion would invite chaos. That's what has happened, and - as much as I despise Ted Kennedy - I can't deny that he voted right when he voted against this foolish enterprise.

I agree, but the point is, he's likely to stay in office no matter what the rest of us want. All he has to do is keep a majority of his constituents happy. The fact is, they know what Teddy stands for, and they keep electing him. IMO, they understand he wields considerable power in the Senate, giving their state more sway in national affairs that it would otherwise have.

Personally, I think the Senate is reprehensible. With few exceptions, like my own senators Coburn and Inhofe (and Inhofe has been there too long, too), it's filled with a bunch of millionare elitists who rule for life. I'd love to see most of them tossed out, but it's not going to happen. Kennedy, for example, won't quit until he's on his deathbed. Sad, but true.

The Massachusetts of 1776 was a 100+ years removed from their founding....sort of like Texas today.

NEVER FORGET

After Watergate's weakening a Republican Presidencey in the early 1970's ...

Senator TED KENNEDY fooled Congress into cutting off all U.S. funding for the then Free South Vietnamese to fight for their own Freedom with.

Then he fooled Congress into cutting off all Humanitarian Aid as well, as in no medical supplies for the South's resultant war casualties.

This as the Soviet Union gave $6 Billion to the invading Communist North for its 'Final Solution' in the South, bringing down over 600 Soviet tanks and 1,000's of artillery pieces upon a dangerously exposed South in the process. Bringing us in the end to sadly see:

In October 1965 1st term Senator TED KENNEDY had toured South Vietnam's war effort for Freedom, being fully briefed on how Communist terrorists were doing everything they could to enslave the Free People of South Vietnam.

In other words he just KNEW BETTER than to do what he later ended up doing against a then Free South.

Same-Same for Iraq now..?

* See 5th Picture down of Senator TED KENNEDY touring South Vietnam, taken long before he went a "bit off the deep end" the night before 2 Americans were getting ready to for a walk on Earth's Moon in July 1969. Moonwalks TED'S own brother JFK had made possible.

See how 2006's upcoming Congressional Election this fall is even more crucial than 1974's, with our own Freedom now directly at stake here at home..???
