Sure it was about Sharia. But it was also in a provincial legislature. That's not what you said:

So my beef with you is two-fold.
1. Parliament is our electoral assembly at the NATIONAL level; legislatures are the provincial equivalent.
And Parliament has NEVER voted to allow sharia law.
2. You used that vote to generalize against all Candians. Would you expect us to extrapolate a bill passed in, say, liberal Massachusetts, to represent the views of the whole USA?
Sweeping generalizations are lazy and sloppy.
**But I will give you credit, though, for spelling "Parliament" correctly - not everybody knows that one!
I don't think Ontario voted on sharia law either . Seems to me the Doofus just made an announcement saying that he was not accepting Boyd's recommendation for sharia and that was the end of it . Not sure if Quebec voted on it or not. But it was rejected in Quebec too.
