They have this commerical here in CO where a teenage boy is sitting there with his little brother--maybe 5 years old. The older brother is talking to the camera (supposed to be his dad) about how bad it was when he was growing up that the dad smoked around him and he couldn't do anything about it and to think twice before doing it around his little brother. The commerical is so dire and serious you would think they were accusing the dad of being a child molestor. My goodness, a parent SMOKES around a child--what is the world coming to.
My dad smoked around me. I didn't know it was so horrible. After not being around it for years, I will try to avoid someone when they are smoking. Unless someone is just a jerk, most smokers I have seen try to avoid blowing smoke toward anyone.
Both of my parents smoked, anytime, anyplace. By all rights, I should be dead or at least have a terminal illness, and should be in therapy for child abuse. Sheesh. It's tobacco, people!!!! Get a grip.
