If this isn't an invasion, where one country is openly encouraging and aiding their own citizens to illegally enter, settle in and undermine a neighboring country's laws, culture and government, then I do not know what an invasion is.

"Saying Mexico is "not the enemy," presidential press secretary Tony Snow today rejected the characterization of the constant flow of illegal aliens over the U.S. border as an "invasion."
You're right Tony. We are so silly to think of it as an invasion. We made a mistake and are just dern fools for not swallowing the spin, as you have. Besides, all they really want to do is to have a friendly cup of tea with us...

At today's White House press briefing, WND asked the spokesman: "Article 4, Section 4 of the Constitution says, 'The United States shall guarantee to every state in the Union a republican form of government and shall protect each of them from foreign invasion.' My question is, does the president believe this foreign invasion means only armed invasion, or doesn't this also mean the invasion of millions of illegal immigrants?"
Responded Snow: "I think what you are doing is you're attaching a martial connotation to something that does not have martial consequences.
Snow dodged the question. The question that was asked is does the Constitution require the federal government to protect the US from an armed invasion or any invasion by foreigners. Snow does not give an interpretation but instead accuses the questioner of attaching martial connotations to something that does not have martial connotations. Snow still didn't say whether or not the Constitution means the federal government must protect the states from invasion or armed invasion alone.

Sorry to say this but Tony Snow has become a puppet and is fast losing his conservative credentials.

Our friends (heavy sarcasm) from south of the border kill more Americans each year than did 911. Yes our friends from south of the border mean America and Americans no harm. They are our friends, just killing the Americans no Americans will kill. It's wonderful having friends such as these.

MA: If Brown was just about letting Black people into a White school, well we dont care about that anymore. We dont necessarily want to go to White schools. What we want to do is teach ourselves, teach our children the way we have of teaching. We dont want to drink from a White water fountain, we have our own wells and our natural reservoirs and our way of collecting rain in our aqueducts. We dont need a White water fountain. So the whole issue of segregation and the whole issue of the Civil Rights Movement is all within the box of White culture and White supremacy. We should not still be fighting for what they have. We are not interested in what they have because we have so much more and because the world is so much larger. And ultimately the White way, the American way, the neo liberal, capitalist way of life will eventually lead to our own destruction. And so it isnt about an argument of joining neo liberalism, its about us being able, as human beings, to surpass the barrier.

Maybe to people in Washington D.C. the criminal aliens are not considered an Invasion but they are by the people who live in and pay the bills in the rest of the country and we want this stopped Now.
I like Tony Snow but I didn't like his stand on immigration anymore then President Bush's and that was while he still had his radio program on Fox News Radio.
Needles to say I can't say that I'm not disappointed in Tony.
