Cnet.com linked to a new site which might be useful for FReepers.
AllYouCanUpload.webshots.com
Offers free, unlimited photo hosting without the need to register. They write, "It's an easy, one-click way to host images on MySpace, blogs, and eBay [or FreeRepublic]."
There is also the great alternative, Photobucket.com, which has all the above features (but with the need to register), plus photo storage.

Thanks for the info. pBase is frustrating because they don't allow redirects of images.

I've never had a problem with Tinypic.com. They do the same thing as AllYouCanUpload.webshots.com

I just went to tinypic.com - it's cool they let you upload videos. I see it is a Photobucket company.
I'd like to know if there is a free site that allows uploading of audio files. Anyone know?

http://imageshack.us/ is the most popular one. No strings attached except your photo may disappear after a period of time if not being viewed.

Interesting that I can upload a picture that can then be published on CNET or other Webshots affiliated sites.

Thanks for the new thingy to try out!
Hmmm the interface gives you all kinds of preformatted code, but not the code most people really want: the code to simply post the picture, without thumbnail or link to a separate page.
I'm skeptical about Webshots hotlinks holding up to high traffic. They didn't use to when I've previously had a Webshots account and the hotlinks didn't last.
I have been happy with www.snapfish.com for nicely resized image links that really hold up well even on high traffic threads, the pictures load fast.
You have to buy something once in awhile, some prints, or a gift, but their products are really good.

"Oink" Well, it works. Thanks! ;^)
