A small but determined Rocklin California group supporting the President and our troops meet every Wednesday on the corner of Sunset and Park Avenues to counter protest the Democraps in our City. You know if you have to put a bumper sticker on your car that says “Another Democrat in Placer County” there ain’t many of them!
Mark, the young man without a hat, drove by one day and saw these hippies with their “I Support the Troops- bring them home now” signs and” Impeach Bush,” got mad, and started a counter protest at the opposite corner. He comes up with the most creative signs as you can see. One week his sign said “Jane Fonda’s Fan Club”(with an arrow pointing at them) that got a lot of honks! You will find a link with a story about him too!
The other young man in the picture is a combat veteran, just back from Iraq. He will be going to Afghanistan in the fall after he marries the cute young woman with the long red hair standing next to him. He saw what was going on and joined the group too. He is from Arkansas and if you click on the soldier link you can read his story. He is an outstanding American Patriot and I was proud to meet him. He is the kind of person every parent hopes their daughter marries.

It only took 2 weekends of meeting them head on - we had loud speakers blaring "Glad to be an American" and such going - we recited the Pledge of Allegiance, we had signs and flags, the traffic tooted for us constantly -
We did NOT engage them in conversation or otherwise acknowledge them. This gave them no sense of power.
the scum started melting away, one by one, slinking off down the gutters and never came back.
That's all it takes to shut these dregs of society down.
Our troops deserve that much! And if enough of us do it around the country - the press can't ignore it...

You go! Until 3 years ago, I lived in Roseville (for almost 20 years) so I know there aren't many dims in Placer Co.
BUT, if you want to see some real butt ugly liberals, last Friday's Walter Reed FReep unfortunately has you beat.
