It's getting to where the only way to distinguish al Zarqawi's speeches from those of the typical Democrat is Zarqawi's more prolific use of the term "Allah Willing." The talking points are identical.
Yep.
Possibilities I never even considered. . .no core of humanity, whatsoever. . .no overriding humanitarian concerns. . .making their hospitals, death camps. Incredible and sickening. . .
Thanks so much for the ping!
Just go to HonestReporting or any other excellent sites (I forget the name of the main one) that debunk lies told about Israeli soldiers (and Israel in general) and you'll see lots of very similar charges, made by Palestinian doctors. The debunking is the fun part.
Stunning.

Savage goes with the wind. I'm usually in aggreement with him 75% of the time, but I've seen him say things supportive of the President one day then lambast him the next.
bump!!!!!
"Savage is an odd duck, he blows hot and cold on the same subject on different days, in the past he has said that Wolf Blitzer is a nice man and very kind, today Savage eviscerated him on the air.
Not that I give a rat's ass but I dont trust Savage, though he is excellent radio and thats why he is pulling down the bucks."
Our views on Savage are very similar. The difference is, it makes me nervous to think that he could have somehow, fallen under the Left's covert control. If that is happened, it will be crystal clear by the date of the November 2008 election.
"On this item though I totally support Savage, he is right in attempting to mount a defense, though I am by no means convinced that a civilian criminal defense attorney can represent the accused in a military justice proceeding."
I am pretty much certain such a thing is not allowed. However, there are many expenses that might be defrayed. In the case at Pantano for example, there was a fatwa out against his family and they had to be protected. Just thinking about it makes me wish we could simply ban Muslims from the country altogether.
cup of coffee required for this thread.
Snacks too. You will be staying a while.
Seems the trojan horse is becoming more transparent.
Wonder what will happened with the entire mask falls off.
"Savages attacks on the Rino politicians and this administration, are the result of GW being asleep at the switch. This country is rudderless, without a captain at the helm is the best way to put it."
I know, but his attacks on the Republican Party go too far in my opinion. I believe the Republican Party is the only hope the United States has for survival as a free nation. The RINOs have penetrated it, sure, but fighting them for control of the party is still the best openly have.
" Well there is a good deal of difference between a conservative and a republican."
Don't you think the Republican Party is the best hope the Conservatives have?
Yes. Hold your nose and vote.
Freepers are onto them, stay tuned. ;-)
Have you ever read some of the posts on DU or yahoo news sites? If not, try doing it on the Haditha threads. Those that instinctively hate the right are certifiably insane, I am not using rhetoric to emphasize a point, Savage is right on that.
I look at Bush, Specter or Hastert and see blindness, not stupidity. They DON'T see this side of the enemy, and I do mean the enemy. The very fact that they do not see them, tells me one of three things.
A. That the right cynically uses rhetoric to sway a group of voters to support them for the power only too, and do not feel the love of country, and fear for her life.
B. That the Republicans believe the same way as the Dims, and are steering us in the same direction, lying all the way.
C. The right is afraid of its own shadow, and will not reflexively defend this country as they are ashamed of their wealth, power or position.
Either way, they do not earn the right to represent us in positions of power.
I read the Haditha thread on yahoo this morning, some on the left actually believe that Bush is a reborn Hitler, the troops have been turned into Nazis, and even quote the fact that 80% of the German people believe that to be true.
This country is on the edge of civil war, I can see it the comments that my sister makes to me about the news, and the news reports.
Those that would demand an open mind on the OJ Simpson, Robert Blake and Michael Jackson cases, truly believe the propaganda of the enemy. I asked my sister about the Haditha incident, she believes the reports. A large portion of those I talk to personally believe the reports.
That comes from one sided news coverage. The only way this kind of thing can be countered is with a controlled press, or a President and his political allies fighting like Carville on every news show and in the papers daily.
In concert they should be blindly supporting the soldiers in the military. Cite examples of the rules of engagement, how many cases in which soldiers in the heat of battle, showed compassion and mercy. Tell the American people of our proud history, how that American troops do NOT act like that. Tell us that the rules of evidence will be followed, and that those accused are innocent until proven guilty, and only IF they are found to have behaved in a criminal manner will you believe that the incident happened. Be a leader Mr. Bush, this country needs you now more than ever.
It's difficult to get the arabic into an "Americanized" translation, and names are usually translated phonetically by whomever is doing the interview. Thus the different variations. My understanding is the bad guys use this to their advantage, as they can point to the watch list and say, "My name is Muhammed Obami, not Mohammed Abami."
No doubt in my mind the "good doctor" at the Haditha hospital is an al Qaida sympathizer, and the one who listed the information on the death certificates. He had had many run-ins with the Americans before, and obviously has no love for them.
Enormous grain of salt in using this very same doctor's death certificates as proof positive that the Marines are cold-blooded assassins.
I am pretty sure any lawyer can defend someone in a court martial, it is not done much because the rules are different enough that it becomes a liability.
Sure looks that way.
