I'm sorry, does anybody remember Jimbo Carter?

Whatever my issues with Pres. Bush, he's been a pretty good President. His is no Carter, and no Clintoon.

Any assessment of a presidency while it's still underway is just so much creative maturbation.

The only poll that counts is conducted every four years in November.

Everything else is opinion pieces in the guise of a poll.

Roosevelt - it can be argued that his policies worsened the depression, but what can not be argued is he started us on the road to socialism.

Quite amusing (and silly) since Reagan was just about as hated during his days in the White House. In fact, many people are still convinced his Alzheimers started during his second term. Yet now he is loved? Well I'm glad to see it. Perhaps one day people will appreciate Bush for facing up to and not running away from difficult challenges.

Polls come out the way the pollster wants them to come out. They are meaningless.

Clinton - Rated second best and third worst. Shows how meaningless these type polls are.

The Quinnipiac University poll was carried out from From May 23-30 and surveyed 1,534 registered voters nationwide. The poll has a margin of error of +/- 2.5 percentage points.

..like most polls, it don't tell you the voter breakdown by party...probably 900 democrats,200 independents, and 400 republicans...the other 34 don't even know what day it was.......

Another deceptive drive-by media misleading headline. You have to read the article to find out he was voted worst president by DEMOCRAPS

The title implies he was voted worst by everyone.

they left off this part off the poll...

too bad they only asked 1500 people, the democrats are just so desperate for a win they will take anything like this as a victory
just this morning matt lauer is interviewing the american idol winner and he says that more people voted for taylor than for bush, but unfortunately for you democrats you only get to vote once i'm sure the liberals wish that you could vote for president 10 times each over the telephone, but you liberal losers really need to move on Bush won kerry lost get over it and take those stupid kerry-edwards bumper stickers off your subaru wagon

Jimmy Carter was at least 10x worse. People either have short memories or they weren't old enough to remember.

Just like Truman, Bush's presidency will be seen in a much better historical light.

And Reagan deserves top billing along with about 3 or 4 others.

Sometimes the best action is not the most popular. It takes courage and leadership to pursue the right course.

Klintoon governed by watching the polls and going which ever way the wind blew - that's why the public, which is generally pretty stupid, awarded him second place. Slick had been too busy avoiding problems, lining his pockets from campaign contributions from the Red Chinese and indoctrinating interns to face the hard questions. That's why President Bush inherited a world that led to 9/11.

Since 1945?

Does this mean he's better than FDR in his first two terms, or aren't they counting dictators.

W isn't running again so this is beating a dead horse. Every modern President has this happen if he survives into a 2nd term. If you took this (with the MSM antagonism) in 1986, Reagan was at a low with the Iran-Contra. Carter was Afganistan / Soviet Union and approaching Iran Hostage. W has an active war with an actively antagonistic (NY Times) MSM.
