Yeah, they can win religious voters. Wiccans, satanists, Aztecs.

quote "Most people in this county, including evangelicals, think it’s immoral to let children go to bed hungry at night"

I also think it's immoral for the government or anyone else to steal money from me to feed them.

quote "They think it’s immoral not to have everyone in some kind of health insurance"

I think it's immoral to force people to buy something they don't wont, and even more immoral to force me to pay for some strangers medical bills.

Aha, I knew something was amiss. Yesterday (31st) the 'Evil Howard' (sarc) basically said Evangelicals, or any 'religious' person for that matter, are bigots for not embracing homo marriage.

Poster note:
I'm not saying you did anything wrong, this is typical Howie speaking out of his 'separate orifices' on different days. The guy is a maroon.

Howard Dean says Democrats must have faith in their ability to attract religious voters.>>

"It doesn't matter that we think exterminating unborn babies," he said. "Or that we dip their faith in urine at every opportunity. Religious people are inherently stupid. All we need to do is say the word 'Jesus,' and the vote will roll in, baby." /sarc

More lunatic ravings from the Left. The more they talk, the more the Democrat Party looks like a serious nut house. Keep 'em talking. Their lunacy scares the American people more than any other thing. The Republicans are silly. The Democrats are seriously bonkers. Which would YOU want in charge of national security???

Is there some sort of gay double entendre to "Stonewall Democrats" that I'm not seeing?

They're not saying Stonewall Jack was gay, are they?

??

So Dean went on TV and lied since he knew the Party's formal platform on marriage would in fact not go over well.

In effect, they can win over religious voters only if they can continue to lie without being called on it.

Dean is fairly out of touch here. I'm a Christian and I think it's immoral that drug-addled parents fail to feed their children. Health insurance is not a moral issue for me.

I don't think the Democrats really understand how more traditional Christians think about morality.

I agree...the dems CAN win religous voters. In fact, Kerry recieved a huge majority of Wiccan, Pagan, and Earth Worship vote in 2004.

I think Dean is right that Dems can get religious voters, mainly Islamic voters.

The former presidential candidate, who will speak at this weekend’s Oregon Democratic Convention in Eugene...

Will they open the convention with a prayer?
