This report is so one-sided as to be a non-attributed press release. What organization this is I haven't look up yet (I'm at work). The obvious initial response is that there is strong statistical evidence that there is a long cycle of hurricane frequency and intensity variance that long predates the 'carbon' cycle of the modern world.
Then again when did such facts ever persuade the koolaid drinkers. "We knows the truth - who needs facts?"

NHC and NOAA better watch it.
The moonbats aren't happy with their message based on measurements, facts and history.
Typical neurotic reaction --- shoot the messenger.
A handful of insane nutcases want to run the hurricane center with chicken entrails and chicken bones now?

We can probably get thousands (instead of just hundreds)just here on FR to demand that Kerry release his War records--would this be a big story too?

The Communists and Marxists are getting more bold. ...just a bunch of Pagans who want to sacrifice our economy instead of maidens as they did a thousand years ago!
It is one of the first times that I have seen such a vicious attack on our highly competent, honest scientists actually doing the job the American taxpayers have asked them to do. NOAA should be commended for the excellent job they have been doing for many years! Such unjustified attacks should not go unanswered because we will just see more and more. Criminals all!

This is nuts. Most of the papers they cite aren't even written by hurricane experts. Sea temperature is only one of several factors governing the intensity of a storm and it's no the dominant one. The hurricane experts ar ethe4 NOAA and National Hurricane Center are the ones that really know what they are talking about.
If we didn't have Global Warming and if we didn't have Bush, who or what would the leftists be complaining about?

Stupid thinking, which includes their simplistic global warming theology, will ask for the resignations of the Hurricane Center Director and NOAA Administrator. My question is do these nit wits expect that hurricanes will cease with these resignations?
